High Pines Residence
Overview
Full interior renovation of a 3,300 sq. ft. family home — new primary suite addition, all-new kitchen and bathrooms, redesigned pool and outdoor living, and updated HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems throughout.
Focus
Transform a compartmentalized layout into an open, connected home with strong indoor-outdoor flow and a private primary suite — built to support how the family actually lives.
Result
A bright, contemporary home that feels spacious and warm — from the kitchen island to the outdoor kitchen to the pool.
Before the Renovation
The High Pines home was well-located and solidly built — but it had reached the limits of its original layout. The kitchen and dining were enclosed, the indoor-outdoor connection was limited, laundry sat outside, and the primary suite was too small for a growing family. The bones were good. The layout wasn't working anymore.
Living Areas
Living, dining, and kitchen were opened into one space designed for daily life and easy entertaining. A large island anchors the kitchen, and a laundry and mudroom was tucked directly behind it — hidden behind a feature wall with a concealed door.
Primary Suite Addition
A newly built primary suite gave the family the private space they needed — with direct access to the outdoors, a walk-in closet, and a bathroom designed for daily comfort — steam shower, freestanding tub, and quality fixtures throughout.
Indoor|Outdoor
The kitchen, living area, and primary suite all open to a fully redesigned outdoor space — rebuilt pool and deck, outdoor kitchen, and a warm wood ceiling overhead. A new wood entry door and matching ceiling detail carry the interior design from the front of the house to the back.
