Welcome to Orange Home.
Your home, handled with care — from the first conversation to the final detail.
Most renovation projects involve separate designers, architects, engineers, and contractors — each working on their own timeline, handing off to the next. Things get lost between them. Decisions made early don’t survive to the end. And through it all, the person who knows the least about construction ends up managing the most of it.
We know this because our founder lived it. Repeatedly.
At Orange Home, the same team manages every phase — design, planning, permitting, and construction — from the first conversation through the final walk‑through. Not only because it’s more efficient, but because the complexity of that process shouldn’t land on you. What’s decided early is what gets built. Problems get caught on paper, not during construction. And you always know where things stand.
You make decisions about how your home should look, feel, and function. We handle everything else.
I didn’t start in construction. I started in your shoes.
Before I ever managed a renovation project professionally, I lived through one. Then another. Then several more — over three decades, across cities, across every kind of home: historic row houses in Georgetown, Spanish-style residences in Coral Gables, Bahamian cottages in Coconut Grove, a beach condominium, a lake cottage in the mountains of North Carolina.
For most of that time, I was working in technology — thirty years in the US, Europe, and Latin America. Renovating my own homes was a passion project, so I know what it feels like to be a homeowner navigating a major project.
One of the lessons I learned was how confusing the process is. Do you need an architect, a designer, an engineer? Who handles the permits? What general contractor can I trust? And if you assemble that whole team, who manages them? Without anyone overseeing the process, decisions made in the design phase don’t survive to construction. Problems that should have been caught on paper show up on the job site, where they’re expensive and slow to fix. And through all of it, the homeowner — who knows the least about construction — ends up managing it.
When I founded Orange Home in 2018, one of my principles was that we would take this burden off of our clients’ shoulders.
We handle design, architecture, permitting, materials, and construction under one team, and manage the complexity of coordinating all these moving parts in the background. You make the decisions that matter — about how your home looks, feels, and functions. We handle everything else.
Helping people create homes that actually reflect how they live is the most rewarding work I’ve done. If you’re thinking about a renovation or new build and want a team that has genuinely been in your shoes, I’d love to hear about your project.
Thank you for visiting.

How we work.
Understand your goals, your timeline, and how you actually live in your home. No pressure — just a thoughtful starting point.
Plans, materials, and budget come together as one decision tree, not five separate ones. Drawings evolve with your feedback until it feels right.
Construction plans are developed to encompass all of the design outcomes and are managed through the permitting process.
One team executes what the same team designed. The right people on site in the right order — what was decided early is what gets built.
Final walkthrough, all required paperwork, warranty in place, and a check‑in months later to make sure everything is still right.
What we do.
Design & Planning
Every project begins with listening. Then space planning, material direction, and 3D renderings to help you see the home before anything is built.
Architecture & Engineering
Complete, coordinated technical drawings — structural plans, HVAC, electrical, and plumbing layouts — ready to build from, without managing three separate firms to get there.
Permitting & Approvals
Permitting is one of the most opaque and frustrating parts of any renovation. We handle the applications, the jurisdictions, and the follow‑up — so you don’t have to.
Materials & Finishes
Cabinetry, countertops, tile, flooring, plumbing, lighting, doors, and hardware — selected as part of the design, not as an afterthought. Materials that look right and hold up.
Construction Management
A construction team that has been part of the design from the beginning — so nothing is lost in translation. The right people on site in the right order, with clear communication throughout the build.
One Integrated Process
Rather than handing projects off between designers, architects, engineers, and contractors, we manage the entire process under one team. One conversation, one point of accountability, and no one left managing the gaps between disciplines. That job belongs to us, not you.
