Pinecrest Kitchen
Overview
Full kitchen renovation integrated with the adjacent family room — new cabinetry, Taj Mahal quartzite countertops, appliances, lighting, dining area, and a reconfigured layout that opens the kitchen directly to the family room.
Focus
Create a refined kitchen that balances serious cooking function with warmth and everyday family living — without sacrificing one for the other.
Result
A warm, modern kitchen built for serious cooking, casual dining, and easy connection to the rest of the home.
Before the Renovation
The original kitchen was functional but limiting — a closed layout with modest counter space, dated finishes, and little connection to the family room next to it. For a household where cooking is central to daily life, the space didn't reflect how the family actually cooked or what they needed from it.
Kitchen
The kitchen was designed first as a serious workspace. Warm wood grain cabinetry, Taj Mahal quartzite surfaces, and a handle-free Gola profile create a kitchen that performs at a high level while remaining warm and welcoming for everyday family life. A dining table extending directly from the cabinetry brings casual meals into the kitchen itself — keeping cooking, eating, and conversation in one continuous zone without separating them into different rooms.
